Are you concerned about global erosion control issues?  Have you ever wondered how you can make a difference in a country half way around the world?

IECA and its members are concerned with global erosion control problems and have found a way to participate in the solutions.  By creating the Save Our International Land (SOIL) Fund, IECA aims to provide a permanent funding source for programs and projects that improve the environment by addressing erosion and sediment control issues through education, research and applied technology.

But we need your help.

We are asking you to donate to the SOIL Fund so we can help finance projects such as:

  • Engineers Without Borders Tsurakú Project in Ecuador;
    The village of Tsurakú suffers from periodic water supply shortages, insufficient sanitation, and resulting problems with water purity
  • Biological Soil Crust (BSC) research and development;
  • and a water quality project in the Nyando Basin Area of Western Kenya, Africa.

These types of projects will have a direct impact not only on the environment, but on the lives of many people who are struggling to meet basic needs.
