About Shad N. Taylor

Over the years Shad Taylor has worked in a variety of settings to finish a wide range of media projects. He brings extensive media experience in non-linear video editing, audio editing, website design, and graphic design to the Erosion Control Network team. Shad is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University – Bourbonnais, IL receiving his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in the summer of 2005. He attended Michigan State University – East Lansing, MI from 2001 until 2003. Here he sharpened and broadened his knowledge in the computer arts and science department. A good percentage of what he knows today came from studying design skills and learning software on his own time. Kick starting his career direction were projects like the 75 year anniversary PowerPoint design-Michigan Safety Conference and the website design for a non-profit management firm-Association Guidance. From there, Shad went to work for the media department at Olivet Nazarene University. He gained great field experience by taking on the roles of project coordinator, account manager, and web developer. With Shad’s educational background and self acquired knowledge of the computer design world, his main focus is helping with the marketing techniques and the details of the website for Erosion Control Network.
