Photo winners have been announced!
The Erosion Control Network Team has reviewed all of the photos submitted up to August 15, 2007. On the right hand side you can view the winning photos of 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. The first place winner will also receive a news piece regarding their submitted photo for extra recognition on our website. Our team would like to also give thanks to all other photos submitted to the gallery, we greatly appreciate you all!
1st Place Winner:
This year's first place winner goes to Brad Fogel from USG. The "USG Dust Armour/Dustrol" image can be found in the photo gallery parent directory of "Hydraulically Applied Products". The photo is showing USG Dust Armour/Dustrol applied to stabilize a soil stockpile. USG is located in the Chicagoland area and can be contacted by phone at 312-606-4433. 2nd Place Winner:
This year's second place winner goes to Cathy Byrom from the American Excelsior Company. The "Erosion next to and into Red Cedar River" can be found in the photo gallery parent directory of "Rolled Erosion Control Products". The photo is showing a drainage channel, located up gradient from the photo, which was exceeded and caused the agricultural field to severely erode and eventually wash out directly into the Red Cedar River.
3rd Place Winner:
This year's third place winner goes to Bill Lindsey from Great Escape Commercial Contracting, Inc. The "Climbing new heights" image can be found in the photo gallery parent directory of "Contractors". The photo is showing the time saved to install 352 yards of compost for amendment on a tiered retaining wall.
